I’ve always had some sort of weight issue throughout my life. As a child, I was very thin and had difficulty gaining weight. To gain weight, I often forced myself to have seconds and not leave anything behind. This became a habit and eventually I gained a little weight. By the time I turned 40, my metabolism changed and along with unhealthy eating habits and not exercising, the pounds piled on.

Although for my height I’m not considered overweight, I am uncomfortable and I want to change my eating  and exercise habits. The purpose of this blog is to record my journey to a healthier and fitter lifestyle and share what I’ve learned along the way.
